The HYSC 2012G Reign Finish the Fall '23 Season as SJGSL Flight Champions

Highland Youth Soccer Club 2012G Reign 2023-24 players after their final game of the fall 23 SJGSL season.

Gloucester Township, New Jersey - Highland Youth Soccer Club's 2012G Reign completed their fall season on November 30 finishing the South Jersey Girls Soccer League flight 2 with a 9-1 record.

The 6 team U12 flight included Haddonfield United, Harrison SC Blue Devils, Deptford Blast, Delran Strikers, and the Highland 2013G Swarm.

The Reign had an impressive performance throughout the fall SJGSL season, at one point recording 6 consecutive wins and allowing only 1 goal against during that span before taking their only loss of the season to their sister club team the Swarm. Throughout the season the Reign had contributions from all 14 players throughout the lineup with 10 different players recorded goals during seasonal play and 11 different players recording assists.

Though the flight championship was clinched earlier in November on the strength of total points the Reign still finished out the season with three consecutive wins to close out seasonal play. Overall, the Reign finished with a 9-1 record scoring a 38 goals while conceeding only 4 across ten games for a +34 differential. The Reign also recorded a league-high 8 clean sheets during seasonal play while allowing the fewest goals against for any team in the U12 division.

The Reign will be promoted to SJGSL's Flight 1 in the Spring of 2024 for the second leg of the 23/24 seasonal year.
