Highland Youth Soccer Club is excited to announce that HYSC has become a Philadelphia Union Youth Affiliate Club.
Chester, PA. - The Philadelphia Union and Highland Youth Soccer Club announce today they are affiliating as part of the Union Youth Club Affiliate Program. Affiliating with the Philadelphia Union provides a unique youth soccer experience for our families - cost effective programming and opportunities as an extension of our club programs - and a direct connection in our community to the professional club.
As a Union Youth affiliate our players will be able to access training opportunities, camps, clinics, and player development programming supported by the Philadelphia Union's internationally recognized development model. The club will work with the Philadelphia Union technical staff to design unique opportunities that cater directly to the needs of our players and teams, as well as add many more program offerings outside of the seasonal year including a full week summer camp led by Union Youth training staff.
Our volunteer coaches will be supported by continuing education, best practices, and technical resources aligned to proven training curriculum. Providing continuing education for our coaches is a priority to ensure that their own development is aligned with the development of our players, and the ability to access Union training resources and the opportunity to be mentored by Philadelphia Union technical staff will keep our coaches growing with their players.
Additionally, the affiliation brings our players access to club exclusive programming such as specialized positional training, Union Select team opportunities, and invitations to elite programs. The affiliation also creates a direct talent ID pipeline to Philadelphia Union Youth teams and programming through the Player Pathway Program.
