Cinnaminson, New Jersey - Highland Youth Soccer Club's 2013 girls were undefeated tournament champions at the 42nd annual Cinnaminson Thanksgiving Tournement on 11/24-26. The girls finished undefeated after 3 matches over EDP clubs while in the tournemants top bracket for the age group.

The 4 team U11 flight included PDA South (NJ), Jersey South FC (NJ) and Real JFC (NJ), all EDP clubs participating in the top competitive bracket of the tournament.

The 2013 Swarm kicked off on Saturday with a 5-0 win over PDA South Blaze followed by a 3-1 win over Jersey South FC to enter the tournament's final day on Sunday with a matchup with Real JFC, who also collected two wins over the weekend to earn them a place what would be the bracket's championship game.

The Swarm entered the final needing either a win or a draw to guarantee tournament champion status. Dealing with a cold and steady rain throughout the duration of the match, the Swarm were able to record their second clean sheet of the tournament securing a 1-0 result at full time.

For Highland, this would mean finishing the tournament undefeated and taking tournament champion trophies.

Overall the 2013 Swarm finished the tournament with a 3-0 record scoring 8 goals while conceeding 2 on the weekend.
